United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) have declared Ten World Heritage Sites in Nepal among them seven sites are inside Kathmandu Valley and three sites are outside of Kathmandu Valley. In all these Ten World Heritage Sites in Nepal eight sites are cultural heritage sites and others two are natural heritage sites having outstanding universal value. Seven out of eight cultural sites are located inside the Kathmandu valley such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Swayambhunath, Bauddhanath, Pashupatinath and Changu Narayan are consisting within the Kathmandu Valley and left one as Lumbini (the birth place of Lord Buddha) is located outside the Kathmandu valley.
The existing Hindu temples, Buddhist stupa and monasteries in Kathmandu valley represent this belief. There are mainly three different types of temple. 1. Pagoda style (roof over roof and the upper roof is smaller than down). 2. Stupa style (dome) -all the Buddhist Stupa. 3. Shikhar (Peak) style. People from diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious background lives in Kathmandu valley where the arts, architects, festivals, and ritual are quite diverse. The 'Newars' is the original inhabitant of Kathmandu valley. Most of them are very traditional who still follow their ritual and festivals to preserve their culture. Detail Itinerary

Day 01Arrive in Kathmandu international airport (1345meters).Overnight at hotel.Welcome to the Himalayan country of Nepal. Representative of Lovely Nepal Tours and Travels receives at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. A short briefing is given to you about the activities of tomorrow. Overnight at hotel. (B&B)

Day 02Information about trip and sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Overnight at hotel.After the breakfast, you set out for the guided city sightseeing trip. Kathmandu is a city of temples. The tour escorts you to the UNESCO listed World Heritage Sites. Temples and Buddhist Stupas are the focused travelling monumental sites. Pashupatinath (Hindu shrine), Boudhanath (Buddhist Stupa), Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa are some of them. The mediaeval arts and architectures are amazing. Drive back to the hotel and take a rest. Overnight at hotel. (B&B)

Day 03Drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu. About 5 hours. Overnight at hotel.In the morning, we drive to Pokhara, which is the city of lakes. The winding road above the River, forests, villages, fields all are awesome. Reaching Pokhara, transfer to the hotel. If you like, we can get out for the boating or walk around the city. Overnight at hotel. (B & B)

Day 04Full day sightseeing around Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.We drive to Sarangkot to enjoy the early morning sunrise view over the Annapurna region White Mountains. They include Mt. Annapurna (8091m), Dhaulagiri (8163m), Fishtail, Himchuli and others. You can enjoy the paragliding because Sarangkot is one of the best paragliding spots in the world. Returning back to Pokhara, city sightseeing can be done as the further program. David Falls, Seto gorge, Mahendra cave, peace stupa are some of the popular sites. Overnight at hotel. (B & B)

Day 05Drive to Lumbini From Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.After breakfast, we drive to Lumbini. The Highway is straight and flat, so the driving is awesome. The sceneries of the green fields and commercial hubs can be seen. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, who spread the message of peace to all over the world. Walk around the Tharu village in the evening. Overnight at hotel. (B & B)

Day 06Full day sightseeing tour in Lumbini. Overnight at hotel.We go on exploring the Lumbini heritage site. Various features have made this place eye-catching destination in the world. Maya Devi temple, Puskarini Pool, garden, monasteries of different countries, museum and other attractions are spectacular. Pilgrimage trip of Buddhist devotees from different countries come to pay their homage. The surrounding is populated by the indigenous Tharu communities, where you can visit and know the unique lifestyle. Overnight at hotel. (B & B)

Day 07Drive to Chitwan from Lumbini. About 5 hours. Overnight at hotel.In the morning, we drive to the Chitwan National Park to enjoy the Jungle safari in Nepal. It is the most visited national park of Nepal. The road drive is picturesque. The green hills, forests, waterfalls and Rivers are awesome. We reach Chitwan in about 5 hours and check in at the hotel. overnight at hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 08Full day jungle acitivites at Chitwan National Park. Overnight at hotel.After the breakfast, our jungle activities begin. The whole day we keep ourselves busy in Elephant back safari, bird watching, jungle walk, jeep safari, canoe ride and others. Chitwan National Park is a home of one-horned rhino and the Bengal tiger, including several species of flora and fauna. We also walk through the Tharu villages. They are the indigenous group of Nepal. Return back to hotel and rest. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09Drive to Kathmandu from Chitwan. About 5- 6 hours. Overnight at hotel.In the morning we drive back to Kathmandu. Arriving Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel and have farewell dinner in traditional Nepali restaurant.

Day 10Transfer to the Kathmandu International Airport final departure.Thank you for your trip with Lovely Nepal Tours and Travels. Our representative drops to the airport for the final departure or to your further destination.
